Reflecting Rhomboid Prisms

We are able to provide a wide range of custom reflecting prisms; we supply custom rhomboid prisms which can be used to displace a light beam laterally, without changing its direction, in effect representing a pair of single mirrors.

We supply high quality reflecting prisms, typically, but not necessarily made of BK7 or equivalent, which rely on total internal reflection in order to move a light beam. Our prisms can be supplied in varying sizes; more specifically our rhomboid prisms can be coated to your need in order to increase the angular range over which the prism will work.

Every custom rhomboid prism is rigorously inspected in our state-of-the-art metrology lab, using our trioptics prism master which is capable of measuring to tolerances of ±3 arc seconds.
