Optical Waterjet Cutting

Water jet cutting is a high pressure water jet ideal for cutting complex designs and shapes leaving a fine ground edge with no tooling costs. The water jet cutting machine is mounted above a table, its movement is controlled with electric motors and a computer. On occasion a small amount of sand may be added to the water stream to speed up the cutting process.

The high pressure water jet cutter will cut almost everything from metal, plastic and glass.  This technique uses a very little mess and noise with no dust or thermal effects.
