Fresnel Rhomb Retarders

Our custom achromatic retarders can be made specifically to achieve the result you require. For example, our Fresnel rhombs change the polarisation of light waves to be circularly polarised. The beauty of the Fresnel rhomb is that the same rhomb setup can be employed for use at many different wavelengths. We also provide custom achromatic retarders in plate form which again work by altering the polarisation of the light wave travelling through it.

Both single and double Fresnel rhombs are available in a custom form, whilst we also can make available achromatic plate retarders from varying materials, covering different wavebands and in different mounts.
