Knight Optical provides high-quality precision etch and fill reticles, also known as illuminated reticles, designed for superior performance in optical applications. These reticles are manufactured using a photolithography patterning process that ensures exceptional line quality, making them ideal for applications requiring high precision and clarity.

Constructed on B270 or N-BK7 substrates, including windows and prisms, the reticles are chemically etched and then filled with a coloured pigment such as red, black, or white. This pigmentation allows for illumination and contrast, making them highly effective for both daylight and low-light conditions.

Benefits

Precision Etching

Our etched lines have exceptional quality and very narrow widths, down to 5µm, are achievable by using photolithography processes to etch the pattern on to the substrate.

High Volume Production

Due to the photolithography process high volume production of graticules is possible and cost effective.

Compliance

Manufactured in facilities that are ITAR registered and capabilities to achieve MIL-spec compliance.
