Dichroic Colour Filters
Dichroic filters reflect unwanted light and ensure superior transmission with minimal absorption. These filters ensure superior transmission for industrial applications such as machine vision, digital projection, and entertainment lighting, and are available in vibrant colours such as red, blue, green, yellow, and more, providing durable, fade-resistant performance with customisable options available to meet specific needs.
- Stock Capabilities: 25mm diameters and 50x50mm squares available.
- Custom Capabilities: Custom dimensions are available from our web stock, as well as custom wavelengths between 400nm to 2000nm.
Optical Flats
O
ptical flats are single precision flat surfaces where one or two sides are highly polished. They are often deployed as reference surfaces to compare flatness of a substrate where flatness is unknown, and are also used in interferometers and high-quality flat optical mirror and window substrates for laser applications.
- Stock Capabilities: Fused Quartz and Zerodur optical flats available, single or double sided polished, to either lambda/10 or lambda/20 flatness. Diameters from 26mm to 302mm available.
- Custom Capabilities: Custom dimensions are available up to 602mm in fused quartz and Zerodur, custom flatness options including lambda/4, lambda/8, lambda/10, lambda/16 and lambda/20.
Linear Sheet Polarisers
Linear sheet polarisers are designed to isolate light to one polarisation plane, and are used for a broad range of applications including the production of LCD monitors and TVs, photography, and other lighting and entertainment systems such as projectors. Knight Optical provides these polarisers both in standard stock sizes, or cut to custom sizes on demand. These components can also be purchased with protective glass or acrylic lamination where necessary.
- Stock Capabilities: Offer UV/visible/IR linear polarisers, made from CAB material.
- Custom Capabilities: We hold sheets of material which can be cut to custom sizes.
Knight Optical provide a wide range of both stock and custom optical components through our website to suit your needs. Alternatively, you can reach out to us to discuss a bespoke component if you cannot find what you need.
