Utilising the expertise and capabilities of Torrent Photonics, our parent company, we can offer image sensor customisation, including removing the cover glass from the image sensor, and then installing and bonding micropatterned filters close to the image plane using our in-house lithography department.
Filter customisations include:

- RGB colour gel filters
- Stripe and Bayer filters

Customisations
Cover Glass Removal
The cover glass over an image sensor can be carefully removed, and replaced if required, to expand customisation capabilities.
Microlens Removal
The microlens array can be carefully removed from some image sensors.
Filter Installation
Pixel-level filters can be installed close to the image plane giving better performance without the cover glass present.
Fibre Optic Bonding
Fibre optics can be bonded directly to the image sensor once the cover glass is removed.
Optics Installation
Once the cover glass is removed optics and optical assemblies can be bonded directly to the image sensor.
