Covid-19 Update from Knight Optical17th Mar 2020
As the COVID-19 pandemic appears to be worsening, we would like to share with you our plans to help get us all through this worrying and anxious period.
Firstly, we are planning to have our Sales/Accounts/Admin staff work from home as a prudent measure to combat any spread and alleviate any pressure on our business operation. Production/ QA/ Metrology will be working as normal until further notice.
This will mean that the telephone system will be unmanned during these absence(s). Should you require assistance then please use email as this will be constantly monitored during working hours and beyond.

Our USA facility remains un-effected as of today.
Technical sales staff will still be available on their direct email accounts.
Without being too dramatic, I am sure you will agree that we have to take this period of uncertainty very seriously and do all that we can to maintain a near normal existence.
It should be noted that at this point in time we are currently unaffected by the virus and orders are being processed as normal. Our dispatch time is still 1-2 days on web orders. All call off orders for custom optics are being shipped for March/ April call off’s this week. Any April due shipments will be billed as an April invoice.
These processes should help us (and you) to weather any storm. We are also looking at other ways that we can assist our customers during any period of uncertainty, and will be announcing any new measures later this week.
