Dove prisms uniquely rotate an image by twice the angle of the prism’s rotation. This makes them highly effective in applications requiring precise image orientation control, such as astronomy, interferometry, and beam rotation in laser systems. They are best used with collimated light for optimal performance. Our standard dove prisms are supplied uncoated, but we also offer custom options with antireflective or mirror coatings on request.
