Knight Optical’s IR-cut filters are designed to maintain colour integrity by cutting out IR and UV light while providing excellent visible range transmission, making them ideal for CMOS and CCD detector systems, especially demanding camera applications like ANPR. Constructed with a hot mirror coating on high-quality borosilicate or equivalent glass substrate, they offer sharp transitions between transmitting and reflecting bands and, with the addition of an anti-reflective coating on the back surface, these filters offer superior performance.
Available in standard sizes up to 50mm, in diameter and square types. We are also able to edge down filters to non-standard sizes to suit your application.
Custom sizes and transmission wavelengths are also available upon request.
Please note: 400FIC0125 does not have an AR coating on the rear surface, and features a transmission of >90% @ 420-620nm.
