Knight Optical is able to supply diode & broadband laser mirrors for use at the typical wavelengths, namely: 405, 635 – 670, 785, 880, 1480, 1550nm for the diode and 700 to 1100nm for the Ti:Sapphire broadband laser. In addition, other wavelengths are available, such as; 455, 487, 589, 656, 808, and 1064nm. The thin films are assembled for an Angle of Incidence (AOI) of 0° and 45°. These thin films are designed to withstand a high damage threshold, with minimum scattering and absorption. This is accomplished by having a stable substrate, such as UV grade fused silica, very high surface quality, and high surface accuracy. Many other laser wavelengths are available as diode pumped solid state lasers expand in number, become smaller, and commercially viable.
