These interference band-pass filters are used to isolate and transmit a specified narrow wavelength and reflect all other incident wavelengths.
Knight Optical's stock range of high quality standard bandwidth visible type interference filters is available from 330nm-2000nm in various bandwidths to meet most requirements, such as imaging and instrumentation. This visible range has a standard 45-50% transmission however some common wavelengths are stocked with a high 70% transmission (See FIJ type filters).
The individual filters are CNC scribed and hermetically sealed to form a stack in their rings, ensuring maximum long-term stability. Although our standard stock range is mounted, un-mounted types with aerospace paint blackened edges can be supplied at request. All our interference bandpass filters are supplied with a transmission curve.
