Knight Optical's Nebula VIS fiber optically coupled mini spectrometer is designed for high performance measurements of the VIS spectrum between 0.35-1.15nm. The system uses a highly sensitive CCD detector with 2048 pixels to maximize measurement accuracy, fitted with a fast USB interface to create instant spectral images. The system features new and improved electronics designed to give a signal to noise of 1000:1 and acquire data quickly through the spectrometer’s high speed 16-bit digitizer.
Designed to be fully “Plug and Play”, the Nebula VIS mini spectrometer is ready to use straight out the box. Install the supplied SpectraWiz software, plug the system in and start taking measurements without any fuss.
The Nebula VIS system is protected by a rugged case for maximum durability and contains no moving parts. Our spectrometers are designed to be highly vibration tolerant making them ideal for field applications as well as in the laboratory.
The Nebula VIS mini spectrometer is suitable for a range of UV applications including spectroradiometry, spectrocolorimetry, optical power measurements, LED measurements and UV level monitoring. Chemical applications include absolute intensities and moisture analysis. Dual and multi-beam applications can be achieved by configuring two or more mini spectrometers together using the USB-2 connections supplied. Up to eight systems can be connected together to and run simultaneously!
