Covid-19 Update from Knight Optical
.As the COVID-19 pandemic appears to be worsening, we would like to share with you our plans to help get us all through this worrying state of emergency and to ensure our teams are safe and well.
As of today 24th March 2020 Knight Optical will be temporarily closed for three weeks under government advisement, as a prudent measure to combat any spread of the Virus.
Our Technical sales team will be working from home and will provide quotes for new orders and are able process any new purchase orders, however there may be a day or two delay in sending your confirmation.
We are maintaining a skeleton dispatch team able, in most cases, to fulfil stock items from our website, but this may take a few days more than normal as we are also in the hands of our couriers.
Metrology, QA and production is now suspended for the foreseeable future, but we will keep you informed of any changes etc.
As our teams are working away from the office our telephone system will be unmanned during these absence(s). Should you require assistance then please use email, as this will be constantly monitored during working hours and beyond. General enquiries should be addressed to: [email protected]
Our US sales team will be working remotely and are available to process quotes and sales orders.
Without being too dramatic, I am sure you will agree that we must take this period of uncertainty very seriously and do all that we can to look after our teams and you the customers.
These processes should help us (and you) to weather this emergency. We are also looking at other ways that we can assist our customers during any period of uncertainty.
By working together, we will get through this together.
