Concave Lenses - Uncoated
|
| These lenses come in the Plano-concave form. Consisting of one inward curved face and one flat face, incident parallel input rays will be bent so that they diverge away from one another on the output side of the lens. With a negative focal length, Plano-concave lenses are mainly used for image reduction or to spread light. In certain applications these lenses take different aliases, being known as a tube length correction lens in microscopy and as a Barlow lens in astronomy. The Plano-concave lenses stocked below are uncoated.
