Optical Flats - Pyrex type

Our high quality optical flat substrates are made from three types of material; Zerodur, fused silica and LEGB. They can be used for interferometry, which involves checking the flatness of other surfaces from the interference fringes (Newton’s rings) that are seen in monochromatic light when two surfaces are in contact. Another use for optical flats is within high quality laser mirrors. 

The stock listed below are fused silica type optical flats which have one flat side and a flatness precision of lambda/10.
